"Last but not least was El Rigby and I'm sure allot of people will agree with me when I say we definitely saved the best till last! What can I say, El Rigby definitely smashed the place to bits, the crowd loved him, music was spot on!! We will definitely be seeing more of this guy that’s for sure!!"
**ALLAN MORROW**
Allan has always loved music from a young age, then he found his ultimate love for trance music and all aspects of it!
The first thing that inspired Allan to start djing was a holiday to Ibiza in July 2007 which hit him as to what he wanted to do as he looked up at all the djs! so when he arrived home he didn’t waste any time sorting out an overdraft to buy his first set of decks, which he had always put off buying until his trip to Ibiza and has never looked back since!
Since then his dreams and ambitions are to play across the world touring different countries thriving on the thought of large crowds dancing to his music! Another of his ambitions is owning his own record label with material of his own to which he hopes to storm the crowds with! Allan is recently working on tunes which he hopes to of mastered and have released soon so listen out for them!
His main inspiration is tiesto! then djs such as Eddie Halliwell, Richard Durand, Simon Patterson, Tom Colontonio and Scot Project just to name a few!

TRANCEFUSION: (Woz Rimmer - Founder)
This new kid on the block is definitely one to watch! ALLAN MORROW is a local lad from Southport and has just had his recent debut set at the towns newest trance night TRANCEFUSION. Allan first took to the decks 1 1/2 years ago starting off with a pair of Numark TT200’s and has now upgraded to a pair of Pioneer 1000 CDJ’s which he prides on using to bring you the very best uplifting tech trance. Allan throughout the years has been influenced by the likes of Tiesto, Eddie Halliwell, Paul Van Dyk and Scot Project so you can see that with this inspiration behind him he has definitely got some ambition and set his sights high! Skies the limit for this guy!! Good things are to come!! Show ya support for the Morrow!
JNEZ PRESENTS: JNEZ (Dj & Co founder)
Allan Morrow had the crowd transfixed in June. Nobody was sat down during what could only be described as a pounding set. Catch what Allan has to offer for August in his 11.45 til 12.45 set. We’re sure it will be as heavy as ever!
**Richie Alexander Franklin**
What would you do if you woke up one morning to think, I've got a good job, good health, good friends, good prospects and yet.. it's not all there... doesn't feel 100%. Actually, to be honest, I'd rather be doing xx.
Substitute xx with whatever's on your Life To Do list and it's a fair bet many of us have had that morning. It's also a fair bet most of the many then went on to think "Nah, I'm in my comfort zone, it's too much risk/hassle to go and chase xx. What about my job?!"
We have the utmost regard at Boocas for anyone who's decided they want something enough to step out of their comfort zone and give it everything they've got. Who's willing to face the risk of failure in order to succeed in something that matters. Who wants to grow old with regrets?
We've also waxed lyrical on the DJ Spotlight before about how admirable it is to learn an entirely new skill set as an adult. If you think it's easy btw, have a go...
For those two reasons plus he's a very likeable chap (we don't associate with tw*ts), although Richie Franklin isn't a headline name you'll see at the top of flyers - yet - in many ways his story commands as much respect as those of the more illustrious names to have passed under the Boocas DJ Spotlight.
Formerly a call centre manager nicely settled into his comfort zone with bright (career) prospects ahead of him, Richie was in his early twenties when he realised that whilst the day job was great for paying bills he found it pretty damn boring, and would much rather be involved in the music industry - preferably as a DJ, possibly as a producer.
9 out of 10 people would stop at this point and think "But it's too late, I am what I am. And where would I start?" Never one to duck a challenge, Richie saved up his pennies for the times ahead, taught himself to DJ, resigned the day job and signed himself onto a three year full time degree in music production. In his own words, he is "just a scruffy student honing my skills as a composer/engineer/producer". What he most definitely is not, is regretful. Life's too short.
2009 - The DJ - Richie has rebranded & is now Richard Alexander after a strange but brief affair with House he is back to what he knows best - TRANCE - progressive, melodic & all round proper TRANCE!
LOKI was born & Richie's brand will see him collaborate with the best in the North Wests trance scene - March seeing a successful launch with Xposed & Shan. After sets with Trancefusion/Sunset & Versatile already this year he has started his quest to become a top Journey Setsman, preferring to play from slower downtempo to progress to more up-tempo euphoric trance. Versatile Management have taken Richie under there wings & will see to it that he gets where he wants to go.
Richie is in the final year of his BA/Hons in Music Production/Management, so even though his gigs will be few and far between he will definately raise the roof of where he goes.. 2010........

**Col Webster **
"Hailing from a place called Bootle in Liverpool Col has always had a deep passion for music and DJing since the age of 15. At the age of 16 and equipped with fake ID he discovered clubbing, he began his clubbing experience at nights in the local club’s like The State, Club O51, The Buzz and Bowlers in Manchester.
Then a trip to Ibiza back in 1996 soon changed his direction in clubbing and music, he became a follower of Trance music and has never looked back since. It was the clubs like Amnesia, Privilege, Space, to mention a few that enhanced his love of the sound. This then made Col become a religious weekly visitor to Cream in Liverpool for the ‘Paul Oakenfold’ resident years in both the backroom and the courtyard embracing both the atmosphere and especially the music.
This spurred Col onto wanting to be on the other side of the DJ booth to be able to spin the music he loved. His DJing break came in November 2005 when a demo CD he passed onto the guys at Sunset landed him to play a guest slot for them at there then home the ‘Zoo Bar’. His guest slot then lead to various other dates in the Sunset calendar including their 1st Birthday, a couple of pre party dates in Temple Bar in Liverpool for am event that was held at Garlands and also an one off event at ‘Baabar’ in Wigan. Col also plays once a month live on net radio for the web based DJ site http://www.djsinthemix.net.
2009 now sees Col become a permanent fixture behind the Sunset decks as he now helps co-promote and DJ each and every month for the night, Col hopes his passion for the sound and his dedication for the night will help take Sunset to the next level in 2009!!"
